RubyでHEADリクエストを行う

概要

私は Ruby にはあまり慣れておらず、Python のバックグラウンドを持っています URLに対してヘッドリクエストを行い、ファイルがサーバー上に存在するかどうか、タイムスタンプ、etagなどの情報を確認したいのですが、RUBYではこれを行うことができません。

Python の場合:

import httplib2
print httplib2.Http().request('url.com/file.xml','HEAD')

Rubyの場合：これを試してみましたが、エラーが発生しました
